is 100% accurate. I&#039;ve suggested that Drupal needs to make quick configuration much easier and to work on modules for specific functionality: wikis, social networks and other common types of online setup.

Sadly, there&#039;s a lot of inertia in the Drupal community about making things too easy. One commenter compared building a Drupal site to the fun of building with Lego, but when you&#039;re trying to get a site up and running, evaluating all the available modules you need for functionality is a pain, and you&#039;re always worried that support for them will die off in the future and you&#039;ll be left stranded.

I think an out of the box install profile for social networking + Drupal would be an amazing thing and would boost adoption. WordPress may have just gained the upper hand on this one.</description>
